Identifying the litter hotspots

The SCRAPbook aerial photography programme is perfect for this.

Take a look at the website for details of what is happening around Scotland, or zoom straight to the Cromarty Firth on the map below.

Click on the icon top left to see the litter categories. The yellow, green and blue icons show the sites that have smaller items of litter. The camera icons are on sites with larger items of litter, which will mostly need several adults and appropriate transport to remove them.

Get out and Clean up

Check out our ‘Get Involved’ webpage for information on fundraising for a coastal clean up, and how to go about organising one.

Find out about the Big Firth Clean which is organised by the Port of Cromarty Firth, working with local primary schools and in association with the Great British Beach Clean.
