Full-time Job opportunity at the MFP – Partnership Administrator
After more than 2 years as MFP Administrator, Dominic Shann is progressing to a new post with Scottish Natural Heritage to provide support to its Coastal and Marine Eco-systems and Use Unit. We wish him all the best in his new role. This means that we are now looking for a new administrator to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time position (37 hours), with a starting salary of £14,458 per annum. The post is temporary to 31 March 2011, with the possibility of extension, and is based in the offices of the Moray Firth Partnership, currently in the SNH office at Great Glen House, Inverness. The MFP administrator plays a key role in our small team and has a wide-ranging workload that is challenging and fulfilling. This includes acting as a point of contact for public enquiries, managing the MFP database and website, helping produce our quarterly newsletter, attending and minuting MFP Board and other meetings, helping with PR etc. The administrator also gets involved in projects and events, helping with fundraising and carrying out basic book-keeping using SAGE software.
Training will be provided as required, but the successful candidate should have :- - Well developed IT skills, including experience in using MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and email/ database applications - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Good numeracy skills. - Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision, and as part of a team - Ability to organise, prioritise and manage a work schedule We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn.
