The Moray Firth Partnership
The Partnership is a voluntary coalition of organisations and individuals working together to support the sustainable management of the Moray Firth. Our work involves collaboration with local people, businesses and organisations around the firth (the arms and legs of MFP), maintaining an overview of the management of the Firth, and a wide range of active projects.
The area covered by the Partnership is the wider Moray Firth and its catchment. This includes the 800km. of coastline from John O'Groats in the north to Fraseburgh in the south, and the coastal waters out to the 12 mile limit. It also includes the river systems that feed into the Firth, and the Dornoch, Cromarty and Beauly Firths.
We are not a lobby group, but retain neutral status, promoting agreement through dialogue and consensus. The Partnership is a registered company, limited by guarantee (no. 196042) and a charity registered in Scotland (No SC 028964).
