The harbour consists of 2 basins. Only the larger inner basin is used with approximately 30 pleasure craft and part time fishing boats mooring here on a combination of moorings and pontoon berths.

DepthsThe harbour completely dries out at low water.
HazardsThe entrance faces northwest and can be hazardous during strong northerly or westerly gales.  Cullen Sea School operate water sports tuition from the harbour during the summer months so extra care is required when entering and exiting.
