Moray Firth Community Interest Links

Community Councils
The Moray Firth area (the coastal area between Duncansby Head by John O'Groats and Kinnaird Head at Fraserburgh) is represented by three local authorities:- Highland, Moray and Aberdeenshire.    Each local authority area has a number of Community Councils, which are effectively voluntary groups, but with elected members.  The Community Council's function is to act as a voice for their local area, and to carry out a range of activities to promote the interests and amenities of the  community.  This can include commenting on planning or other applications, carrying out surveys, arranging events, taking action on local issues, and so on.  The links below will take you to information about the community councils in your area.
