If any one has some long distance photos of the Fairburn Wind Farm turbines taken from the Community Council's area of the Black Isle I would be very interested to receive them. Despite many arguments and pleas we receive no benefit due to the visibility impact of the Wind Farm. I used not to have a problem with seeing wind turbines but it does gall me to see these and for us not to have received any Community Benefit. Scottish and Southern Energy have now advised us that the full £10,000, given to us to compensate for the traffic disturbance caused by the movement of the lorries carrying the structures, will be available for organisations to apply for from within this Community Council area. Originally it was to be available over 2 years with £5000 being available each year.
